Joseph "Joe" Beuron Hobbs
Joseph "Joe" Beuron Hobbs 79, of Gaston died Monday November 25, 2019.
Joe was born in Roanoke Rapids to the late Joseph Barkley and Irene Adams Hobbs. Joe was a life-long businessman in Northampton and Halifax Counties.
He is survived by his daughter, Joan H. Long and her husband, Ricky of Roanoke Rapids; his son Bennett Hobbs of Gaston; his sister, Carolyn H. Hash of Myrtle Beach, SC; six grandchildren, Cortney Hammack and her husband, Jeremy, Lee Powers, Brent Powers and his wife, Whitney, Alyssa Preston and her husband, Dennis, Kalyn Long and Colin Long; six great grandchildren, Karlee Hammack, Sophia White, Braxton Hammack, Connor Hammack, Brylee Turner and Weston Powers.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at 3 pm in Cedarwood Cemetery in Roanoke Rapids with Rev. Randy Martin officiating.
The family will receive friends, Tuesday November 26, 2019 from 7:00 to 8:30 pm at Askew Funeral and cremation services in Roanoke Rapids.
